Spectrum PLA is characterized by full biodegradability. Precisely selected dye concentrates mean that elements made with Spectrum PLA have intense colors with a wide color spectrum. In addition, a correctly selected base of dyes in combination with high-quality granules ensure the highest efficiency of printing, while at the same time the manufactured elements maintain a very good adhesion on FDM/FFF building boards. The characteristic properties of Spectrum PLA filament make the material optimal as a training filament for people beginning their adventure with FDM/FFF additive manufacturing. Due to very high aesthetic values, Spectrum PLA is also used for industrial design, especially for prototype concepts and demo versions of designed products and semi-finished products.
Spectrum PLA is also used in the production of gadgets and advertising material for companies, as well as all kinds of toys, figurines, containers, holders and plinths that function as interior design elements.
Quality control
Filament for 3D printers is produced by free extrusion. This is one of the most difficult extrusion techniques because process parameters have a particularly large influence on product dimensions and material homogenization.
During the manufacture of Spectrum Filaments, every 1 mm of material is measured continuously in 2 axes with an accuracy of ±0.8 µm. This makes it possible to achieve a high-quality final product. To prove this, Spectrum Filaments, as one of the few manufacturers in the world, has introduced the possibility to present individual parameters online for each spool produced:
