Revo Hemera™

The Revo Hemera is a compact, powerful extrusion system with the convenience of E3D's RapidChange Revo ecosystem.

With hardened steel, dual drive gear, to grip the filament from both sides, the Revo Hemera gives your 3D printer exceptional pushing power. A carefully defined filament path means that the filament cannot twist and bend on its way to the melting zone, which makes Revo Hemera a good choice for challenging filaments, such as Flex and TPU.

Ready for Revo. Change the nozzle at room temperature with just your fingers. No complex tools, no hot clamping. Revo nozzles are a factory-sealed nozzle and heatbreak in one, so they are easy to fit and do not leak material when in use.

New heat. A Revo HeaterCore heats up in seconds. A completely new heating technology has been developed for the Revo. The compact new HeaterCore is smaller, neater and more robust than traditional heating blocks. It is designed with a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) that reduces the current as it gets hotter, drastically reducing the maximum thermal run temperature and associated hazards.

Narrow filament path. Hemera is a combined extruder and HotEnd, so it has fewer transitions than most extrusion systems available. A narrow filament path gives it excellent performance with hard-to-print materials like flex and TPU. Even with the softest flexible materials, you can print without underextrusion or filament plugging.

Resistant to abrasion. Hemera's stainless steel gear teeth are resistant to wear, so with the right combination of components, your Hemera can effortlessly 3D print advanced abrasive and composite materials, such as carbon filaments, for serious industrial applications.

Optimized airflow. Hemera has a uniquely designed lightweight aluminum heatsink for highly efficient cooling. Air is circulated through the fins and then up and away from the 3D print, preventing any accidental warping of the printed item.

No loss of torque. Hemera's 3.32:1 dual drive gear produces a pushing force of up to 120N on your filament from both sides, for accurate and controlled extrusion without loss of torque. Sharp, individually machined gear teeth ensure excellent filament grip strength, and rounded profiles help reduce filament build-up, for high quality, consistent extrusion from first to last layer.

E3D quality. Each Hemera drive system includes shielded bearings and high-quality igus® bushings for optimal wear resistance. During assembly, each drivetrain is lubricated by robots, with each drivetrain thoroughly analyzed using an accelerated wear test to ensure your Hemera will have many years of 3D printed life.

Mounting options. Hemera's custom motor end caps provide convenient T-slots for flat mounting on many popular 3D printers, leaving plenty of room for other accessories such as leveling sensors or fans.

Flexible for any setup. Hemera runs well with Bowden and direct drive setups. Simply add a Bowden adapter (sold separately) and your Hemera becomes a powerful Bowden filament drive.

* You retain full compatibility with Hemera HeatBreak, V6, Volcano and SuperVolcano HeaterBlocks.

* You may need to level your build plate when changing nozzles.
