When it comes to loading your filament?

Load your filament with 5 single steps:

1. Open the door

2. Place the coil in any empty space

3. Insert the wire into the extruder hole 1 or 2

4. See confirmation from the device's LEDs

5. Close the door and go back to more important work

How to remove a coil: Press the button and the filament retracts completely with a clean, sharp tip and is now ready for the next time.

Always fresh 3D print materials

Every decision during the development of the Ultimaker S5 Material Station was made based on always being able to ensure optimal materials for 3D printing.

Moisture and dust ... the Ultimaker S5 Material Station defeats them both

Its silica gel extracts moisture and regenerates automatically, keeping the closed chamber below 40% relative humidity, even in conditions of 70% humidity outside. By removing the possibility of moisture absorption, the polymer breaks down

not over time. The filament is preserved untouched for a longer period of time, as if the spool had never left the packaging. This results in higher quality printing with high success.
