SpiderSheet (Ex Craftbot) - KAN TILSKÆRES MED HOBBYKNIV - 254x228mm

The SpiderSheet is a thin, 'soft', durable plastic sheet that adheres to the build plate of FDM 3D printers to provide an ideal adhesion surface for your 3D print.

SpiderSheet replaces, in many cases, the need to use glue or other adhesion products.

Install your SpiderSheet:

1. Wipe down your build plate and make sure it is clean and free of dirt.
2. Cut or cut the SpiderSheet to fit the size of your build plate (if it is not already the correct size).
3. Remove the white adhesive liner and apply the SpiderSheet to the clean build plate. Starting from one edge of the build plate and working your way to the other edge, smooth the SpiderSheet with a credit card or scraper.
4. Level your build plate again and make sure the nozzle height is set correctly (usually between 0.10 – 0.25mm).

Tips:
To ensure the lifetime of the SpiderSheet, you must use a putty knife to remove your 3D printed items. In addition, the 3D Expert recommends PrintaClean or Isopropanol to clean your SpiderSheet with.

Typically with other build surface solutions, such as blue masking tape or polyimide tape, a heavy deposit or "smoosh" is applied to the first print layers. With Spiderheet, this is not necessary.

* Works with virtually all types of filaments, such as PLA, ABS, ASA, PBT+, HIPS, PETG, Wood & Flexible (TPE) filaments; in addition, we have had success with nylon and t-glasses (PETT) when used with a thin layer of glue stick on the SpiderSheet surface.

* Installs much easier than masking tape and film typically used and with less chance of air bubbles

* Protects the build plate

* Heat resistant and durable, can be reused for many 3D prints, and you can use different filament materials without having to change the print surface

* Creates optimal adhesion between the 3D printed part and the build plate, maximizing the chances of your part being held in place for the duration of the print and then allowing for easy removal of the part from the build plate.
