The advantages of 3DE Premium PETG are that it has exceptionally good adhesion between the layers and is generally more durable and elastic. PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) is the plastic filament that is the most used plastic in the world. PETG is a modified version of PET. The modification is achieved by adding another glycol during the polymerization. If PET gets too much heat, it becomes cloudy and brittle, PETG filament does not. The added glycol prevents the material from crystallizing and becoming vulnerable. PETG has a high transparency compared to other materials.
