Compared to Snapmaker 2.0, Artisan is fully improved in terms of print speed, precision, filament compatibility and accessibility. High quality 3D printing is simple and easy to access.

Transmission technology in industrial quality

With Artisian, an industrial transmission technology is introduced for desktop manufacturing - steel guide rails manufactured by CNC grinding at the micron level, are embedded in Artisan's linear modules. This leads to a significant increase in precision, stiffness and durability, giving you a fast, accurate and stable printing experience.

All metal - next level

The Artisan inherits the Snapmaker's signature all-metal design, but also comes with an upgraded one-piece die-cast base plate in a larger size. It is stable as a rock, even during high-speed CNC machining.

Ultrawide 7'' touchscreen

All-in-one CAM solution: Snapmaker Luban

Snapmaker Luban custom software provides a concise and easy-to-understand configuration workflow for 3D printing and laser and CNC machining. Excel in 3 manufacturing methods with only 1 software. The latest Luban is built in with several convenient print modes. It is not necessary to adjust the parameters. Great prints are just a few clicks away. You can access the underlying parameters and have full control over the machining process as always.

Faster and easier

Thanks to the optimized transmission system and motion control algorithm, the Artisan has a dimensional accuracy of ± 0.1 mm when printing at a high speed of 180 mm/s. Not only is the print speed faster, but changing between tool heads and hotends is now both faster and easier. Quick-swap platforms and tool heads allow you to switch between the three functions, printing, laser cutting and CNC cutting in less than 1 minute. In addition, Luban detects die sizes and types and offers you custom configurations so you can easily manufacture your prototypes, high-strength parts or whatever is needed for your projects. The Dual Extrusion 3D printing module also has a motor built in to automatically lift and switch between two extruders without additional tool head movement or switching between switches. This enables faster and quieter dual extrusion 3D printing.

Dissolvable and interruptible support pressure

The Artisan is equipped with a dual extrusion 3D printing module that supports PVA, HIPS and other dissolvable materials. Simply soak the print and the supports will dissolve, leaving the model with a smooth surface. Complex geometry is no longer a problem. Break-away filament provides the same support as normal materials, but is much easier to remove without the need for additional finishing.

Save time and energy with a zone-heated bed and easy calibration

In the center of Artisan's heated bed is a 260 × 260 mm high temperature zone (also called the inner zone) that can reach 110 °C, while the highest temperature in the outer zone is 80 °C. While your model is placed in the inner zone, which heats up to 60 °C in just 2-3 minutes, the outer zone is not heated, saving time and energy. Artisan can automatically level the heated bed and calibrate the Z offset of the two extruders and then calibrate the XY offset with a semi-automatic program. In 3 steps you can enjoy dual-material or two-color printing with perfect adhesion and alignment.

Not only about strength, but also about finesse

The laser module is equipped with laser beam splitters and beam shaping optics and has a high power of 10 W and an ultra-fine laser focus (0.05 mm × 0.2 mm). This allows for high quality laser work with impeccable detail.

More powerful CNC cutting and carving

Equipped with a 200W CNC module, Artisan further improves CNC performance, while retaining the ER11 collet, custom chucks and dustproof design that are highly recognized by users, bringing you a new desktop CNC experience.

6X faster CNC machining

Compared to Snapmaker 2.0, the CNC module in Artisan is increased by 300% in power and 50% in maximum spindle speed, making it 6 times faster for processing hardwoods such as beech.

0.2 mm Dimensional accuracy

The high-rigidity linear modules and the high-speed spindle enable the CNC module to carve or cut smoothly in various materials with a target accuracy of up to 0.2mm.

Your security is in good hands

The cabinet's door detection sensor lets the Artisan automatically stop the laser or CNC job when a door is opened. The laser module includes a gyro sensor, which ensures that no laser beam is emitted if the module deviates from the specified position. We have also built an emergency stop button into the controller. What's more, the process paused by the button can be resumed. The laser module automatically stops working when its temperature sensor detects a higher than normal operating temperature (a temperature that exceeds 55 °C/131 °F).
