PBT+ (polybutylene terephthalate) provides many of the same properties as nylon, but absorbs less moisture (humidity), allowing PBT+ to maintain its shape in wet environments.

PBT+ is often used as a substitute for Nylon 6.6 or 6.12 and has better wear resistance than polypropylene or polystyrene. PBT has good mechanical properties in relation to stretching, twisting and bending (good "bend recovery"). PBT is good against solvents,

PBT+ has a high UV resistance

Note that PBT contains fibers that wear out your nozzle. We therefore recommend a ruby, steel, hardened steel or titanium nozzle.

We recommend print temp on this type to 235C hotend / 65C please include e.g. PrintaFix or 3D Supreme Glue

PBT+ has a heat resistance of up to 120C and can be advantageously used for 3d printed items that are used for casting in e.g. PUR or anything that needs heat.

PBT is relatively easy to print with when you see the advantages you get.
