Magigoo PA is designed for professional use, to work exclusively with Polyamide filaments. After printing, the item is relatively easy to remove when the build plate has cooled, and glue residues are also easy to clean off the build plate.

Why Magigoo PA?

PA (polyamide) describes a group of polymers with an amide reaction unit. Generally in the FDM industry there are 3 main types of PA which include PA12, PA66 and PA6.

Sometimes these materials can either be grafted with other polymers or reinforced with glass or carbon fibers. In general, nylons exhibit high strength, toughness, elasticity, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance and thermal resistance and are widely demanded in various industrial applications.

Nylon filaments can be a challenging material to FDM print in due to their lower degree of adhesion to conventional build plates and their higher tendency to lift at the corners. In addition, there are several classes of PA filaments, each of which behaves differently.

MAGIGOO PRO PA is a specialized solution for FDM printing of PA filaments, which has been developed to work with a large number of PA types.
