New filament sensor

With the new version, you get a sensor that works optimally with all types of filaments. Fysetc - i3 Bear KIT uses optical sensor which is triggered by a simple mechanical lever. This sensor is independent of the optical properties of the filament (it can be completely transparent) and is not subject to mechanical wear.

Easier service

Thanks to a completely redesigned extruder, it is not necessary to disassemble the entire extruder if you want to change nozzles or PTFE tubes. As a bonus, the nozzle and extruder motor are much closer to the X-axis, which means less resonance and also better printout. Better belt tension of the Y-axis is just the icing on the cake.

Improved cooling

Thanks to an improved design of the whole extruder, the air flow is increased and results in an improved cooling capacity. There is also a focus on cooling the printed object and the MK2.5S/MK3S is better for printing from flexible materials.
