Taulman - 618 Nylon - Neutral - 1.75mm - 700g

618 was the first nylon specifically manufactured for use in 3d printing. Technically speaking, 618 is an incredibly high quality filament in scale nylon 6.6.

There is only one company that produces this filament, with exactly this quality. This filament is characterized by a smooth surface, good durability and meltability, high strength, chemical durability.

This type of Nylon can be stored for a long time without being damaged - you can also dry the file cement if it is exposed to water.

618 it is not recommended to print on aluminum plate or glass. The best for this material is printing on masking tape - which is available in both blue and white models - as known from printing with PLA filament.

Safety 618 meets the EU's "REACH" requirements as defined by the ECHA European Chemicals Agency. There are NO additives or chemicals in 618 that are listed in the REACH Directive.

618 Contains NO toxic chemicals and is "inert" to the body.

As with all 3D Printing using heated polymers, Caution should be used so as NOT to come into
contact with the molten 618 (218C+) as it will adhere to ALL cellulose surfaces, including skin.
